1957, Lewis V. Vafiades and his cousin, Nicholas P. Brountas,
joined forces and opened a law firm in their native Bangor,
Maine. Their goal was to provide high quality legal services
to individuals and businesses throughout Maine. They practiced
law together as an association from 1957 to 1972. The law
firm of Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky, LLP was formed
in 1971.
We are a law firm of twelve Bangor attorneys with a courteous and professional support staff. The firm
