BANGOR, Maine — VBK Law is pleased to announce that attorney Rosalind Prince Gilman has been appointed to her third term on the St. Joseph Healthcare Board of Trustees. Roz, an experienced attorney at the Bangor-based firm, will continue her service on the board for an additional three-year term, furthering her commitment to the health and well-being of the Greater Bangor community.

The St. Joseph Healthcare Board of Trustees is composed of dedicated community leaders who oversee the organization’s mission—to provide compassionate care that addresses the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of every patient. Trustees act as vital advocates for the hospital, engaging with medical, civic, and philanthropic partners to ensure the institution remains prepared to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the region.
“St. Joseph Healthcare is a cornerstone of our community, and I am honored to continue supporting its mission of delivering quality and compassionate care,” said Roz. “I look forward to working with other board members and the leadership team during this next term to ensure that St. Joe’s remains a place of healing and excellence for all our neighbors.”
Having received her B.A. from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, cum laude, Roz brings expertise to the board. At VBK Law, her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and estate administration. Her roots in the community and her professional background in navigating complex legal and advocacy issues provide a valuable perspective to the governance of St. Joseph Healthcare.
Roz’s reappointment comes at a pivotal time for the organization as it continues to expand its services and community impact under its mission-driven leadership. Her third term will run through 2029.
