Lisa A. Cohen Lunn


Lisa was born in Bangor, Maine, in 1960. Her family has lived in Bangor since the 1890s. She studied at the University of Maine and in Mexico City, Mexico. During her senior year in college, she worked for Olympia Snowe as a congressional intern in Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 1988 and has been practicing at Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky, LLP since September 1988. She is admitted to practice before the Maine Bar, the United States District Court for Maine and the Penobscot Tribal Court. Lisa’s practice is varied, but she currently focuses on workers’ compensation, personal injury law and Social Security disability.

Lisa lives in Bangor. For fun, Lisa walks, kayaks, cross-country skis and is an avid reader. She is a former Board member of the Bangor Humane Society and previously served on the development committee. Lisa also served on the Board of Amicus, an organization which provides professional support for people with disabilities. She is a former member of the Endowment Committee for Spruce Run, a local non-profit organization committed to ending domestic violence. She currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Governors of the Maine Trial Lawyers.  Lisa has been a partner at Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky, LLP since 1996.
